I think that it's two things: 1, its the emus that they used back then and they haven't changed, and 2, they like the idea of EVERY GAME INSTALLED - whether it actually works or not. It's the number of games that they care about.

I'm more about the quality than the quantity.

If your goal is to add new games, make sure that you check around the forum, at http://CoinOPS.vision, and at back-ups to see ensure that you aren't covered already. I believe that there is already a translated roms pack done, but I don't remember if it was for CoinOPS, Vision, or Premium. In any ev...

I appreciate the links, bud. The ebay auction is from Ken at The Gameroom. From what I could determine by searching, he's been importing candy cabinets for over a decade, and apparently has a stellar reputation amongst the community. If you have deep pockets (ie if you're not me and trying to do thi...

Appreciated. The chassis you linked is the Wei-Ya chassis. It works, but has horrible reviews for 15khz, and it's 31khz is supposed to be markedly worse using the same Nanao tube. Strangely enough. I'll be honest, I don't yet understand enough about the monitor techs to understand why. I've read som...

Awesome! Glad that you found something you like. I have one of those pelican sticks myself. The joysticks and buttons aren't arcade grade by any stretch of the imagination, however they function well enough for casual use, and they can be rather cheaply upgraded later on. If you decide to upgrade la...

I don't know that there is a model. It's a Sega Blast City cabinet, sold in the US as Sega Bass Fishing. I *think* that there might be different bezels available. They're hard to get and expensive when you do get them (they're pulls from parted cabinets). I'll have to check on that. Either way, from...

They aren't making new WG tubes any longer, are they? I can't afford arcade LCD, and I prefer the look of the old CRT anyway, and well... these are cheap. IF I can get them :) That and the Blast has weird requirements for its monitor. You can't just put a flat panel in there - it won't line up with ...
