This is my Xbox ruining unleashx as my dash and XBMC as an app with nothing else running or even started before. Is this comparable to everyone else's systems? Thanks guys.

Yours looks a bit on the warm side, also your fan must be noisy at 40%.
Mine gets hotter after running a while, but here are the stats when first turned on and booting XBMC.

Mine keeps locking up in premium and XBMC. I have to keep the fan at 40 otherwise it gets real hot. I have already went through the Xbox re silvered both CPU and GPU. Took off the post under the hard drive to let more air through. Dang thanks man.

Just keep the house cool and keep the Xbox low to the ground and away from other components. That's what I do. Wish I could help more, but sounds like you are doing everything right. Good luck.

My numbers are closer to Randyslim76's.

Mine boots straight into XBMC4Xbox 5.3.5.

After 15 mins idling on System info and without case mods:

CPU: 106F
GPU: 111F
Fan speed: 20%
Free mem: 29MB
Screen res: 1280x720
Operating system: 1.0.5838.1

I couldn't get the GPU heatsink off, so I only re-gooped the CPU; but I don't get any lockups no matter how long I keep the Xbox on.

I turned my fan speed down to 1.0x in unleashx and in less than two min it climbed up to 117.5 on CPU and 111 on GPU from the 100.5 CPU and 99 GPU with fan running at 4.0x

Xbmc runs the GPU a lot more than unleashx.

It's very annoying but as I've always said it'd probably the unleashx dash causing all my issues. I'll change dashes soon maybe to avo or evox and see if that fixes the issue..... It could just be that version of unleashx. Who knows but I'll figure it out and add it to the ton of other things I'm doing.

I want that, Therich!
I only got the 3.5.3...

Sorry for being so totally useless on this matter, Randy.

Lol Smithis! 5.3.5 would be Kodi if I'm not mistaken :)
I'll figure it out.....I have been trying to figure out the shortcut maker trying to show down the boy process since I'm more comfortable now with my box bud. Maybe you can help me with that Smithis ole friend and pal of mine.

You mean with the shortcut maker?
 What question is possibly left unanswered there, dude?
Still my offer stands:
Make me a complete directory list of your xbox & I'll create the necessary shortcuts for you.
Or why don't you just open the shortcut maker for once? ;)
I think this is enough sugar-coating for one morning.

Bahaha! Whoops! Yes, I meant 3.5.3!

Probably doesn't help you much, but I found my Xbox runs hotter when I use Evo-X than XBMC. I have no idea why, but it's why I prefer XBMC. FTP is slow, though, so I run Evo-X for large transfers.
